We don’t create a new cover from scratch. Instead, we enhance your existing design — updating colors, optimizing images, refining typography, and improving layout — while keeping the original identity of your book intact. The result is a modernized, eye-catching cover that increases marketability and attracts readers.
Terms & Conditions
1. Project Scope
This service includes the professional enhancement and update of an existing book cover to make it more marketable, visually appealing, and aligned with current trends.
The goal is to improve the cover’s effectiveness in communicating the book’s content and attracting the target audience, without creating a completely new cover.
2. Deliverables
The service includes:

One (1) refreshed cover per requested format (eBook, Paperback, Hardcover, etc.)

One (1) revision round covering minor adjustments to layout, typography, images, or overall design

Final files delivered in requested formats (JPEG, PNG, PDF, or other agreed formats)
Additional revisions, format variations, or major redesigns beyond the included revision will incur additional fees.
3. Delivery Time
Estimated delivery time is 7–10 business days, depending on the number of formats and the complexity of the requested modifications.
Any variations in delivery time due to project scope or complexity will be communicated and agreed upon in advance.
4. Client Requirements
To begin the cover refresh process, the client must provide the following materials in accepted formats (JPEG, PNG, PDF, PSD, or similar):

Existing Cover Files – the current version of the cover for each format

Book Title and Subtitle – exact wording as it should appear

Author Name – exact spelling

Book Genre and Target Audience – to ensure market alignment

Specific Requests – notes on elements to enhance, modify, or update

Reference Covers – examples or inspiration to guide the refresh

Additional Assets – images, logos, or graphics to include or replace
All required materials must be received before project initiation.
5. Revisions
One (1) revision is included and must be requested within five (5) business days of delivery.
Revisions cover minor adjustments to typography, colors, images, or overall design.
Major redesigns, additional formats, or structural changes will be considered separate requests and billed accordingly.
6. Ownership and Copyright
Upon full payment, the client retains full ownership and rights to the refreshed cover.
Charlie Creative Lab may include the refreshed cover in its portfolio for promotional purposes unless explicitly requested otherwise in writing.
7. Confidentiality
All client files, cover designs, and communications will be handled with strict confidentiality.
No client content will be shared, published, or disclosed to third parties without written authorization.
8. Payment Terms
Payment must be made according to the invoice.
Work will commence only after confirmation of payment or receipt of official proof of payment.
Late or incomplete payments may delay project timelines.
