Terms & Conditions
1. Project Scope
This service includes the professional formatting of your manuscript for publication on platforms such as Amazon KDP, IngramSpark, or other print and digital outlets. The goal is to ensure a visually consistent, professional layout that meets technical publishing standards and enhances readability.
2. Deliverables
The service includes:

One (1) fully formatted version of your manuscript, delivered in PDF and/or print-ready format (according to client specifications).

One (1) revision round after delivery, covering minor layout or spacing adjustments.
Additional revisions, structural changes, or redesigns beyond the included revision will incur additional fees.
3. Delivery Time
The estimated delivery time is 7–9 business days from the moment all required materials are received and project confirmation is issued.
Delivery times may vary depending on the project’s length, complexity, and platform requirements. Any delay or variation will be communicated and agreed upon in advance.
4. Client Requirements
To begin the formatting process, the client must provide the following materials in the accepted formats (Word, PDF, or text):

Final edited manuscript – Word or PDF

Trim size – e.g., 6×9 inches, 5×8 inches, etc. (Text or PDF)

Page style preferences – font, margins, spacing, etc. (Text or PDF)

Front and back matter – dedication, acknowledgments, author bio, etc. (Word or PDF)
Optional materials such as images, tables, or chapter ornaments can be provided in high-resolution formats (JPEG, PNG, or PDF).
5. Revisions
One (1) revision is included and must be requested within five (5) business days of delivery.
Revisions cover minor layout or formatting adjustments. Major structural changes or content edits (e.g., adding/removing paragraphs or pages) will be considered a separate request and billed accordingly.
6. Ownership and Copyright
Upon full payment, the client retains complete ownership and all rights to the formatted manuscript. Charlie Creative Lab will not use, reproduce, or distribute the formatted file without the client’s written consent.
7. Confidentiality
All manuscripts, files, and communications will be handled with strict confidentiality. No client content will be shared or disclosed to third parties without written authorization.
8. Payment Terms
Payment must be made according to the invoice terms. The formatting project will begin only after confirmation of payment or receipt of official proof of payment.
