Terms & Conditions
1. Project Scope
This service includes the professional proofreading and light editing of written content provided by the client. The goal of this service is to improve grammar, spelling, punctuation, consistency, and overall readability, without altering the author’s voice or meaning.
2. Deliverables
The service includes:

One (1) complete proofreading of the manuscript.

One (1) round of minor revisions after delivery, limited to corrections or clarifications based on client feedback.
Any additional revision or substantial rewrite will be quoted separately.
3. Delivery Time
The estimated delivery time is 5–7 business days from the date all required materials are received and project confirmation is issued.
Delivery times may vary depending on the length and complexity of the text. Any variation will be communicated and agreed upon before work begins.
4. Client Requirements
To begin the project, the client must provide all the necessary materials in one of the accepted formats (Word, PDF, or text). These include:

Book pitch, plot, objective, target audience, and index (PDF, Word, or text)

5. Approval and Revisions
Upon completion, the client will receive the proofread manuscript for review.

The included one (1) revision must be requested within three (3) business days of delivery.

Revisions cover only correction clarifications or small adjustments. Major stylistic changes or new content requests will be considered a new service.
6. Ownership and Copyright
Upon full payment, the client retains complete ownership of the corrected text. Charlie Creative Lab holds no claim over the content and will not distribute, share, or publish it without written consent.
7. Confidentiality
All materials, manuscripts, and client communications are handled with strict confidentiality. No document will be disclosed to third parties under any circumstances without prior written authorization.
8. Payment Terms
Payment must be made according to the terms indicated in the invoice. Work will begin only after payment or official payment confirmation has been received.
